Thebarge was hired to the Thomas Athletic Department in 2008 as the Head Field Hockey Coach, while also serving as an Assistant Athletic Director and Senior Woman Administrator. Thebarge also served as the Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach from 2009-2010.

A native of Skowhegan, Thebarge Maine graduated from Northeastern University in 2000 with a bachelor’s in mathematics and a minor in secondary education. While at Northeastern, she played field hockey and was a four year starter and participated in four NCAA Division I tournaments making it to the Final Four championship in both 1995 and 1996.

Prior to Thomas, Thebarge served as Assistant Field Hockey Coach at the University of from 2002-2005 and was the interim head coach in 2006. From 2000-2002 she was the Head Field Hockey, Basketball and Softball Coach at Buckingham Browne and Nichols, a private school in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Thebarge has been actively involved in the United States Field Hockey Association Futures program both as a player and coach and was the Regional Coaching Director of Massachusetts from 2001-2003. She is currently the head coach of the Mid Maine Majestix field hockey club in Waterville, Maine as well as the head coach for the futures program in Maine. In December of 2009, Thebarge was inducted into the Maine Field Hockey Association’s Hall of Fame.
