Joe Waraskevich was appointed Head Ice Hockey Coach on August 1, 2022. After a one year hiatus from Thomas he returned for what was his 8th season leading the Terriers to a 10-7-3 season qualifying for the NECHA Playoffs.
Coach Waraskevich played an instrumental role as Head of Recruiting during his first tenure at Thomas and recruited the group that won the schools first NECHA Conference Championship in the 2019-2020 season. The first recruiting class with Waraskevich as head coach is very strong and with that there is a clear focus on getting back to the top of the NECHA Conference and competing at the National Tournament.
Coach resides in Oakland, Maine with his family and he is quick to point out that their support is essential to his success.
